Description

Le Sueur River begins in northwestern Freeborn County in south central Minnesota. It flows 111 miles through a mostly agricultural region until it discharges into the Blue Earth River, which in turn flows into the Minnesota River. Le Sueur River and two of its tributary waterbodies were monitored by the Metropolitan Council from 1998 to 2005 as part of the Outstate Streams Monitoring Program.
