The Seneca Wastewater Treatment Facility, located in Eagan of Dakota County, is MCES's third largest wastewater treatment facility and the fourth largest in Minnesota. It was originally built in 1972 and currently has a design capacity of 34 million gallons per day. The treated effluent from the facility discharges into the Mississippi River.
